    Passed away lovingly surrounded by family on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Twin Oaks of Maryhill at the age of 98.
    Beloved husband of the late Laura (nee: Bray) (2002).

    Loving father of Diane Strickler (Danny), Joanne Lobsinger and Doug Zinger (Sandra) all of Maryhill.
    Cherished Grandfather of Bobbi-Jo (Trevor), Phil (Tracey), Tye (Ashley), Joe (Sally), Dwight (Angela) and Great-grandfather of Codi, Troy and Jackson, Theo, Chase and Melody, Carson and Brinley.
    Predeceased by his parents Linus and Ottillia (nee: Hummel).
    Dear Brother of the late Harold, Anthony (Doc) and Betty. Survived by sister-in-law Mildred Frank.
    Lovingly remembered by dear friend Mae DeMartin.
    He was a farmer for all his life in the Maryhill area, as well as working at the Ontario Livestock Exchange (Stockyards) for 50 years. He was a proud member of the Maryhill Knights of Columbus, St. Boniface Holy Name Society and The Maryhill Historical Society.
    Pat's family will receive relatives and friends from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 -9 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Parish Prayers at 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Boniface R.C. Church (1354 Maryhill Rd. Maryhill) on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Voisin officiating. Interment at St. Boniface Cemetery after Mass.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Boniface R.C Church - Cemetery Fund or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).

    ZINGER, Anthony "Doc" Passed away suddenly at St. Mary's Hospital on Monday, May 11, 2015 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Snider) for over 66 years. Loving father of Judy (Jim) Lauber, Kathy Wagner, Mike (Josee) Zinger and the late Tom and Patricia Zinger. Proud grandpa of Kirk, Jason, Holly, Jeremy, Tommy and Tyler, and great-grandfather of Matthew, Cameron, Karlie and Braeden. Survived by his brother Cyril "Pat" Zinger. Doc's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers 4 p.m. Wednesday. Prayers will also be offered at the funeral home on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 9:20 a.m. followed by a procession to St. Boniface Catholic Church, 1354 Maryhill Rd., for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery. Reception to follow.

    ZINGER, Thomas M.

    At K-W Hospital, on Tuesday, October 26, 1976, as a result of an automobile accident, on Friday. October 22, Thomas Michael Zinger, a resident of Maryhill, aged 21 years.

    Thomas was born in Kitchener, a son of Anthony (Doc) Zinger and the former Elizabeth Snider. A resident of the Twin City area all his life: a member of St. Boniface RC Church, Maryhill and the Maryhill Knights of Columbus.

    Mr. Zinger has been employed at the W.J. Rider Produce Company, Ariss, and had formerly been with Rumpel Felt Company. Kitchener. He was a member of the Maryhill baseball and broomball clubs. Besides his parents, Doc and Elizabeth Zinger. he is survived by his grand-mothers, Mrs. Leona Snider and Mrs. Otillia Zinger, both of Route I, Breslau: two sisters, Judy of Kitchener, and Kathryn of Maryhill; a brother, Michael of Maryhill. Lovingly remembered by Nancy. Also surviving are two nephews. Kirk and Jason. He was predeceased by a sister, Patricia.

    Friends called at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home. 621 King St. W.. Kitchener. where a Scripture service under the auspices of the Maryhill Knights of Columbus was held. Funeral mass at St. Boniface RC Church. at II a.m. Friday with Rev. Father John Lawless officiating. Interment in the Maryhill RC cemetery.
