    BRIGHTON, Lorne - On Monday, November 6, 1978, at his home, Mr. Lorne Brighton, of 27 Mill St., New Dundee, aged 69 years. He is survived by his wife, the former Beulah Fried; three sons, Robert of Waterloo, Roland of Route 4, Bright, Kenneth of New Dundee; two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Holtzhauer of Cambrige (G) and Bonnie at home. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one sister, Mrs. Helen Lee of Kitchener. He was predeceased by his parents, the late Alexander Brighton and the former Martha Kavelman, one son, Earl, and one brother. The late Mr. Bright is resting at the Omand-Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, after 7 p.m. this evening, until Thursday, November 9, when funeral service and committal will be held at the funeral home, at 2: 30 p.m., with Rev. Richard Holm officiating. Interment to follow at Union cemetery, New Dundee.

    Lee, Helen Luella (nee Brighton) - Suddenly, on Monday, April 6, 1998, at her residence, Bankside Terrace. Born June 1, 1912 in New Dundee, Ont. Predeceased by her husband, Gordon Lee, who died May 1965. Longtime member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church. She leaves behind her daughter, Marilyn English and son-in-law, James English of Calgary; three grandchildren, Tanya Sullivan and her husband Rod of Canmore, Alta., Cynthia Bentzen and her husband Mike of London, Ont., and Stephen English of Calgary and two great-grandchildren, Natalie and Daniel of Canmore, Alta. The family will receive friends at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S., (at Westmount Rd.), Thursday, April 9, 1998 (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, 248 Highland Rd. E., Kitchener, at 2 pm on Friday, April 10, 1998. Interment to follow at the New Dundee Union Cemetery.

Beloved and devoted husband of the late Isobel (Hall) who predeceased him July 9, 1999.
