At the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Sunday, Sept., 28, 1997, age 88 years.

Mr. Erb was the owner and operator of R.T. Erb Garage in Waterloo for 45 years. Member of First United Church, Waterloo, the Waterloo Wellington Flying Club, the Khaki Club, Bridgeport Rod and Gun Club and member of the Lake Rosaland Association.

Loving husband of the former Lorene Gerth. Dear father of Lynda Beam and her husband Pat of Maryhill. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren, Michael Beam and his wife Lori of St. Clements, David Beam of St. Clements and his friend Tracey Young, of Mary Hill. Also survived by a brother Ray and his wife Jean of Waterloo; a sister, Dorothy Knechtel and her husband Joe of Breslau.

Mr. Erb's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S. Waterloo, today (Monday) from 7-9 and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Judy Keenan-Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.

KNECHTEL, Dorothy Valtina (Erb) - Beloved wife of Joseph Knechtel, of RR1, Breslau for 70 years. Daughter of the late Lloyd and Elizabeth Erb. Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 11, 2006, in her 93rd year. Loving mother of Glenn (Janet) and Joan Knechtel, all of RR1, Breslau. Grandmother of Douglas (Raffina) of Cambridge, Kim (Jeff Brenner) of RR7, Guelph, Tim (Tammy) of Georgetown and Lisa (Tim Koch) of Nithburg. Predeceased by her grandson Gary Knechtel (1976). Beloved great-grandma of Amy and Shereen Knechtel, Drew Rees-Brenner, Nicole Brenner, Thomas Katelyn and Kalea Knechtel and Dean and Erin Koch. Sister of Raymond (Jean) Erb of Waterloo and the late Russell Erb. Dorothy and her husband farmed at Kitchener and later Breslau until her death. She was an avid horsewomen and life-time member of Bethany Evangelical Missionary Church. Dorothy's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2006 at Bethany Evangelical Missionary Church, (160 Lancaster St. E., Kitchener). Pastor Bill Anderson officiating. Interment Manheim Cemetery. ERB, Raymond Wilson Passed away peacefully on Friday, September 7, 2012, at Heritage House in St. Jacobs, at age 92. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Jean Erb (March, 2010). He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Sandra Curry and her husband Bob, and Penny Preis and her husband Fred. Cherished grand-father to Dawn, Christopher (Shelly), Trevor (Julie) and Ryan (Sarah). Loved great-grandfather to Chase, Alexis, Kate and Liam. Predeceased by his brother Russell Erb and sister Dorothy Knechtel. A family service will be held to celebrate Ray's life.
