Father of Velina and Alvin Brubacher of RR 1, Elora, Joseph and Elsie Bowman and Salome Bowman, all of RR 2, Drayton. Also remembered by his 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Brother of Elam and Velina Bowman of RR 1, Wallenstein, Lucinda and Mahlon Martin of Floradale and Clayton and Delila Bowman of Elmira.Predeceased by his parents, John and Annie (Lichty) Bowman; 3 sisters, one brother and one brother in infancy.Friends may call at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira today (Friday) from 2-9 p.m. Family service will be held at the home of Joseph Bowman, RR 2, Drayton, on Saturday morning at 9: 30 a.m. then to Goshen Mennonite Meeting house for further public service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Survived by fifty four grandchildren, fifty eight great-grandchildren, sister Lucinda (Mrs. Mahlon Martin) of Floradale, brother Clayton (Delila) of Elmira. Predeceased by one daughter Elizabeth (Mrs. Paul Martin), one grandson, one great-granddaughter, parents John and Annie (Lichty) Bowman, three sisters and two brothers. The family will receive their friends and relatives on Friday, February 18, from 1-4 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. at his home, 7528 Line 86, RR 1, Wallenstein, where a family service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 9 a.m. then to Peel Mennonite Church for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.     Passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, July 25, 2022 with her family by her side at the age of 73 years. Remembered by her loving husband of 52 years, Abner Martin of Linwood.

    Cherished mother of Elverne (Ruthanne) Martin of Listowel, Rhoda Martin of Linwood, Eric (Janelle) Martin of Listowel, Myrna (Darrel) Bauman of Drayton and Arnie (Anita) Martin of Hesson.

    Loving grandmother to Max (Beth), Laura, Jaydin, Tyrone Martin; Damian, Mariah, Ian Martin; Cody, Caleb, Damaris, Deena Bauman; Anika, Owen, Alex, and Brett Martin and loving great-grandma to Kaiden Martin.

    Also remembered by her siblings Abner (Eleanor) Metzger, Edward (Gayle) Metzger, Isaac (Mary) Metzger, David (Marjorie) Metzger, Amsey (Eileen) Metzger, and David (Ellen) Krahn.

    Predeceased by her granddaughter Daina Martin, parents John and Lovina Metzger, and brother John Metzger.

    Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Woodlawn Mennonite Fellowship, 6449 Wellington Rd. 11, Dorking. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Mennonite Fellowship followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery, 3210 Boomer Line, RR 1, St. Clements.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to Christian Aid Ministries \endash Reapers of Hope.

    A special thank you to the wonderful Care Partners group of nurses who provided Almeda with care and medication to keep her resting so we could have her at home and communicate with her until the Lord called her home.

Sister of Anson Bowman of Kitchener, Aden and Elsie Bowman of Listowel, Elmeda and Harvey Martin of Mount Forest, Erla (Mrs. Amsey) Martin of Mount Forest, Herman and Lovina Brubacher of West Montrose, Melinda and Onias Martin of West Montrose.

    Predeceased by her husband Daniel Martin (October 24, 2021), her parents Elam and Velina (Wideman) Bowman, her sisters Elizabeth (Mrs. Paul) Martin, Seleda (Mrs. Herman) Brubacher, brother-in-law Amsey Martin, daughter Hannah Martin, one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter and Daniel's first wife Lydia (Brubacher) Martin (2015).

    Visiting will take place at the family home, 1230 Jigs Hollow Road, West Montrose, on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and 4 - 7 p.m. A family service will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the home followed by burial and public service in Winterbourne Mennonite Cemetery.
