  TODD, Alan Hugh (B.A.Sc., P.Eng. (Chem.) At K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Tuesday, October 22, 2002, after a valiant fight. Beloved father of Christine Elizabeth Deacon of Toronto, the late Marion Joan Todd, Geoffrey Alan Todd (Joanne Morgan) of Waterloo and John Robert Todd (Anne Todd) of Calgary and best friend of Betty Anne Yonchus of Elmira. He is also survived by Gwendolyn Todd of Waterloo. Dear grandfather of Sarah and Laura Todd of Calgary and Emma and Dean Todd of Waterloo. Alan was a longtime employee of B.F. Goodrich Chemical Canada and an avid sportsman, he was a champion pole-vaulter and a member of Chicopee Ski Club for many decades. He also kayaked for the better part of each season and played fetch with his favourite black lab, Shadow. Alan was an active member of the Delta Upsilou fraternity. The Todd family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, today (Thursday), 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will he held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, October 25, 2002, at 1: 30 p.m. Following the funeral service, a reception will be held in the Reception Room of the funeral home.
