      At the Health Science Complex in St. John's, Newfoundland, on Monday, August 11, 1997, Albert Evans of Elgin St. S., Cambridge, in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Shirley (Glynn) Evans and dear father of Linda Lane and her husband Paul, Ronald Evans and his wife Wanda and Carol Ann Collins and her husband Ron all of Cambridge. Beloved grandfather of Amanda and Christopher Evans, Ashley, Stephen and Jennifer Collins. Beloved brother of Pearl Pittman of Cambridge and Robert Evans and his wife Mary and James Evans and his wife Rosella both of St. John's. Beloved son-in-law of Mary Glynn of St. John's. Dear brother-in-law of Gordon Glynn and wife June, Gerald Glynn and wife Janet and Robert Glynn and wife Mary all of St. John's, Newfoundland and Terri Hickey and her husband John of Pasadena, Newfoundland. He will also be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and many friends. He is predeceased by his parents Chesley and Mary Evans, his brother Ledwell and his father-in-law, Leo Glynn. Mr. Evans was a former head custodian at the Waterloo County Board of Education. Resting at the CORBETT FUNERAL HOME, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ambrose R.C. Church on Friday, Aug 15, 1997, at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Mount View Cemetery.
