  SCHORSE, Alec W. - At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, February 6, 1985, in his 83rd year, Alec Schorse of Cambridge, beloved husband of the late Myrtle Smith (1977) and Carrie Bell (Haisell nee Rounds) 1984. Dear father of Alice (Mrs. Rod Millar) of Cambridge and William of North Bay. Father to Lawrance of Dundas, Donald of Richmond, B.C.; William of Victoria, B.C. Betty (Mrs. Robert Fox) of Cambridge. Loved by 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brother Hubert (1962). He was the retired Comptroller for Inspiration Mining and Development Limited, a member of the First Baptist Church and served as Chairman of the Building Committee and also served on the North Bay Public Library Board. He was a member of the Masonic Order in North Bay. Resting at the Martyn Funeral Home on Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral services to be held in the First Baptist Church on Tuesday, February 12th at 1:30 pm. Reverend Ralph Neil officiating. Spring interment Union Cemetery.
