  Alexander J. Erler of 88 Weber St. W. eid at St. Mary's Hospital following a brief illness. He wäs 74. A native of Maryhill, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Erler. He was predeceased 47 years ago by his first wife, the former Collista Wagner, and 17 years. ago, by his second wife, the former Mary Hergott. Mr. Erler worked for 35 years as a leather roller with Lang Tanning Co. Ltd. until retirement 17 yéars ago. He was a member of St. Mary's RC Church. He is survived by two sons, Vincent of Waterloo and Jerome of Dundas; one daughter, Mrs. Henry (Pauline) Roussel of Bridgeport; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph. (Margaret) Graf and Mrs. Hilda Schell of Kitchener, and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mrs. Francis (Ann) Malce and Mrs. Theo (Nellie) Dietrich. The body is at the Gruhn Funeral Home where prayers will be held at a.m. Monday followed at 10 a.m. by requiem high mass at St. Mary's Church celebrated by Rev. Frank Dentinger.
