  CHELKOWSKI, Anthony - Of Kitchener, at Freeport Hospital, on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 1985, 89 years of age. He had served with the Eighth Army in North Africa and Italy and received the Distinguished Service Order (DSO), and also the Order of the British Empire (OBE) Father of Alice (Mrs. Andy Tulecki) of Kitchener; grandfather of Ted, Yvonne and Elizabeth; brother of Zofia Engwert of Warsaw, Poland. He was predeceased by his wife, Helena Chelkowski and a brother, Ludwik Chelkowski. Funeral services were held on Friday from the Schreiter-Sandrock Chapel. Interment took place in Woodland cemetery.
