Mr. Aug. Krogman.
The mending of a shoe in in its way of as much importance as any other piece of work requiring the touch of the man who thoroughly "knows how." A very few can afford to toss aside a pair of shoes and buy a new pair when the least break occurs in them - practically everybody gets his or her shoes mended at some time or other. And then they want them well sewed and neat in appearance. Mr. Aug. Krogman, whose shop is on Benton St. is one of Berlin's best shoe repairers. He also makes boots and shoes to order, guaranteeing a perfect fit and A 1. workmanship. He will also fasten and adjust skates on shoes for the small fee of 10c. and still another line he excels in is the mending rubbers. He learned his trade Germany and came to this country 11 years ago. After 4 years the bench in Berlin, Mr. Krogman worked in the Elmira Felt Works for 6 years. Returning to Berlin, he opened his present shop where he is doing a large business.
