  A. M. Burke Is Stricken August McBain Burke, 55, of 1255 Lincoln road, night superintendent of the Universal Button Company for the past 12 years, died suddenly this morning at his residence. Mr. Burke was born in Preston, Ont., and came to Windsor 11 years ago from there. He was a member of the Chalmers United Church. He is survived by his widow, Pearl; two daughters, Mrs. Carl Hawkins, Brockville, and Miss Isabel Burke at home: one granddaughter, Bonnie Lee, and one brother, Fred W. Burke of Windsor, and two sisters, Mrs. H Gale Legg of Ottawa and Mrs. J. Gimbel of Preston. Funeral services will be held from the Morris Funeral Home, 1624 Wyandotte street east, Friday evening at 8 o'clock. The body will go by Canadian Pacific Railway to Preston for services from the Stager Funeral 5 Home, Saturday afternoon. Burial will be in the Independent Order of Odd Fellows plot in the Preston Cemetery. Rev. C. F. McIntosh will officiate at the service here.
