Hooton-Hoy Vows Are Said In Evening

Married last evening at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church were Barbara Jean Hoy, and Mr. Harold Hooton, Kitchener. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hoy, 87 Filbert St., and the bride groom is the son of Mrs. Ada Hoot on, Manchester, England, and the late Mr. Frederick Hooton.

Two candelabra holding white tapers were complemented by arrangements of white snapdragons and white stocks for the setting. Rev. Finlay G. Stewart officiated and organist was Mr. Edward Johnstone.

The bride wore a two-piece delf-blue silk shantung ensemble, styled with fitted jacket featuring a Peter Pan collar and three-quarter length sleeves. Her white cloche hat was trimmed with a small veil, and she carried an all-white cascade of spring flowers.

Mrs. Frank Hoy, sister-in-law of the bride, her only attendant, wore a navy silk shantung ensemble, similar to the bride, and she carried a cascade of blue and white spring flowers. Mr. Hoy was best man.

The reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, and the bride's mother was in a gray figured sheer frock, with white accessories. Her corsage was of red sweetheart roses.

For a wedding trip to Ottawa and points in eastern Canada the bride wore a gray flannel tailored suit, with white accessories and a corsage of feathered white carnations.

They will live at 88 Simeon St.
