Two Cambridge residents died in a fiery, 36-vehicle accident, Saturday, about 30 km north of here. Bastiana (Jane) Moolenbeek. 77, of 1913 Coronation Blvd., and Anna Karsemeijer, 83, of 806 Queenston Rd., died, when their car and 11 others burned in the pile-up on Interstate 75, said Bernice Ridenour, dispatcher at. the Picqua, Ohio, post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Seven other people (died and "at least" 47 more were injured in the 4 p.m. accident, she said. The freeway was closed for eight hours. A winter storm was pounding the area at the time and the chain-reaction accident happened during a "white-out," Ms. Ridenour said. "A number of northbound vehicles went out of control on ice in low visibility and other vehicles couldn't see what was happening " she said. " You couldn't see anything until you were right on top of it.Ten to 12 vehicles burned that's where all the fatalities were.|" The accident is still under investigation, Ms. Ridenour said. Dayton is about 350 km south of Windsor. Ms. Moolenbeek has been cremated. She is survived by daughters, Willy and Lydia of Cambridge and sons, John of Ottawa, and Bill of Hamilton. Ms. Moolenbeek, had eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She also has a brother and sister in Holland. A memorial service for both will be held Friday, at Knox's (Preston ) Presbyterian Church, 132 Argyle St. N. The service for Mrs. Moolenbeek is 2 p.m. and the service for Ms. Karsemeijer, is 2: 30 p.m. She was born in The Netherlands and had a son, John, and daughter, Petronella, both of Toronto.

Tragically in a motor vehicle accident, at Dayton Ohio, on Saturday, February 24, 1990, in her 77th year. Bastiana Moolenbeek-Ditmar of Cambridge. Beloved wife of the late John Moolenbeek (1987). Loving mother of Willy (Mrs. John Van Strien) of Cambridge, John and his wife Barbara of Ottawa, Lydia (Mrs. Bob Mitten) of Cambridge and Bill and his wife Jenny of Hamilton, dear grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of one, also survived by one brother and one sister in Holland. Memorial Services will be conducted at Knoxs Preston Presbyterian Church, 132 Argyle Street, North on Friday, March 2nd, 1990, at 2: 00 p.m., with Reverend Al Beaton officiating. Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Little's Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, East, Cambridge.
