- Mrs. Christian S. Kuepfer, 43, the former Beana Kuepfer, of the Ninth Line, the Township of Wellesley, died of a heart attack near Millbank on Saturday, November 12th, at the reins of her horse and buggy. Mrs. Kuepfer was returning home after visiting friends, Mr. and Mrs. Amos Wagler, R.R. 1, Millbank, when she died. She was accompanied by a neighbor, Mrs. Joseph Schmidt. Surviving are her husband, five daughters, Clara, Esther, Mary, Sarah and Katie, and three sons, David, Aaron and Amos, all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Kuepfer, of Millbank; four sisters, Mrs. Joel Kuepfer, R.R. 1, Newton; Mrs. Ezra Albrecht, R.R. 1, Millbank; Mrs. Harvey Jantzi and Mrs. Joseph Albrecht, of R.R. 1, Milverton, and two brothers, Allan, of R.R. 1, Milverton, and John, of R.R. 2, Milverton. The funeral was conducted at the residence on Wednesday at 1: 00 p.m. Burial took place in the Amish cemetery, Seventh Line, Wellesley. Bishop Amos Albrecht officiated.
