      At Freeport Hospital Health are Village, on Saturday, Feb. 9, 1991, In her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Ernest George Barrie. Dear step-mother of Marjorie Cruickshank of Kitchener, Douglas Barrie and his wife Talma of Waterloo and their families. Also survived by her dear nieces, Barbara (Mrs. William R. Lawler) of Collingwood and Mary (Mrs. Val Richardson) of Toronto and their families. She was predeceased by two sisters, Helen (Mrs. George J. Aitkin) and Edna (Mrs. Allen Hutchison). Born in Galt, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. J. McMurtry, she attended Galt collegiate institute and MacDonald Hall in Guelph. She was a former member of the Silver Star Society, the IODE, Galt Country Club and Knox's, Galt Presbyterian Church. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A service of remembrance will be held in the chapel of Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, on Monday, Feb. 18, 1991, (one week from today) at 2 p.m., Rev. Linda Ewing officiating. Entombment of the cremated remains will take place in Mount View Mausoleum.
