    • OBITUARY

      MRS. B. DETTMER.

      The passing of another pillar from the ranks of staunch citizens is chronicled to-day. Mrs. B Dettmer crossed to the Great Beyond at seven o clock this morning her death occurring at the home of her daughter, 88 Wellington street.

      Her demise followed an illness which began last May and which became more critical and gave cause for apprehension as the months passed.

      Mrs. Dettmer was a resident of this town for many years and during the past twenty five years she had resided here continually.

      As a young girl she came to this continent from her native land, Germany, where she was born sixty years ago. During the long period of her, acquaintance and friendship grew continuously The host of friends, how that she had departed from their midst, will miss her fellowship and association, and sorrow is borne by them as by the bereaved family

      Her husband predeceased [husband was still living in the House of Refuge] her surviving her four daughters and one son, namely

      Mrs John Walter, 88 Wellington St; Mrs Oscar Lanher, 134 Louisa; Mrs Wm Janke, Hamilton; Cora and Harry at home There also survive one sister, Mrs Henry Pinke, city and two brothers in Detroit, Messts Herman and Charles Boldt

      Mrs Dettmer was, a member of St Peter's Lutheran Church The funeral will be held at 230 o'- clock Monday afternoon from the residence of the deceased, 129 Louisa Street, to Mount Hope Cemetery for interment.
