      Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at his residence on Friday, November 21, 2008, in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Audrey Marie (nee Dusome) (1998). Dear father of Bertram Frandsen of Ottawa, Else Chegahno and her husband Keith of Cape Croker, and Karen McGovern of Cambridge. Loving Papa of Dawn Frandsen (Bruce) of Hamilton, Ryan McGovern (Vicki) of Kitchener, Adam Wells (Rachel and Travis) of Cambridge and great-grandpapa to Jessica Frandsen, Alex Frandsen, both of Hamilton, Karlene Dixon of Sault Ste. Marie/Cambridge and the twins Hope and Faith of Hamilton. Survived by one brother, James (Jean) Frandsen of Toronto and one sister-in-law, Stella of Sudbury. Lovingly remembered by all his nieces and nephews including his "little Cape Croker Clan" He will be sadly missed by his best friend, Cassie. Predeceased by his parents, Hans and Lettie Frandsen; four brothers, Colin "Bill", Niels, Austen "Aussy" and Hans "Tubby" and one sister, Else. Mr. Frandsen was born in Campbellton, N.B. He was a Veteran of the Second World War, a member of St. Clement's RC Church and was a retired Quality Control Inspector, at a Dunlop/Firestone. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, on Saturday, from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 24, 2008, at St. Clement's R.C. Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge, at 11 a.m. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
