  Bruce Richard Olinski December 29, 1939 - June 18, 2018 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Bruce announce his passing on Monday, June 18, 2018 at the age of 78. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Joan for 56 years. Loving and amazing Dad of Denise and the late Jim Nowak, Gary (Tammy) and Brad Olinski. Most cherished and loved Poppy of Dana and Sarah Nowak and Zach Olinski. Family was always first and he loved them unconditionally. Dear brother to Joanne Hagen (the late Wilbur) and brother-in-law of Pat Harbach, Herb (Betty) Wendling, Dick (Shirley) Wendling and Sandy Wendling. Predeceased by parents Philip and Lillian, his brother Dennis, and sisters June (Howard) Fossold, Jeanne (Lonnie) Park and in-laws. He will be fondly remembered by his nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Bruce's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. Private interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Mary's Hospital Foundation - Cardiac Care Centre or Nutrition for Learning would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
