  Burley G. Bretz PLATTSVILLE - Burley G. Bretz, 58, of RR 1, Plattsville, died today in St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, after a four month illness. A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Bretz, he was born on the farm where he lived all his life. He was a member of Plattsville United Missionary Church, a trustee of the church, member of the Christian Businessmen's Committee, director of Ayr Co-operative Credit Union and a member of the Federation of Agriculture. Surviving are his wife, the former Ruth Barley, whom he married in Kitchener in 1934; six sons, Calvin of RR I, Plattsville, Harold of RR I, Waterloo, Murray of Baden and Ronald, Elmer and Willard, all at home; one brother, Ivan of Kitchener and one sister, Mrs. O. T. (Myrtle) Coleman of New Dundee. The body will be at the Glendenning Funeral Home, Plattsville, until Saturday noon, when removal will be made to Plattsville United Missionary Church for service at 2: 20 p.m. Burial will be in Chesterfield Cemetery.
