- Charles F. Roehr, 90, of 36 Sixth Ave. died Sunday at K-W Hospital following a brief illness. Born Dec. 19, 1874 in Kitchener, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Roehr and a lifelong resident of Kitchener. He was a well-known tailor in the Twin Cities for 65 years and was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Emma Stauffer whom he married in Floradale, Oct. 29, 1902; one son, Gordon of East Palatka, Fla.; one daughter, Mrs. Lyle (Rita) Oberholtzer of Kitchener; one sister, Mrs. Lorne (Minnie) Scharlach of Kitchener and one grandson. He was predeceased by one daughter in infancy and two sisters. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 o'clock with Rev. A.A. Schweitzer officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
