- WILKINSON, Carol Laoma (nee Roedding) Passed away on June 12, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 69. Predeceased by her husband Rev. William Wilkinson (2008), by her parents Wilfrid and Reta Roedding and her beloved uncle and aunt Leland and Laoma Schweitzer. Will be sadly missed by her kindred sister and best friend Florence Dubrick & her husband, Carol's cousin Carl and their children Jessica and Jonathan. Dear mother of Peter and his wife Anna of Kanata, John of Cambridge, Mark and his wife Rose and Wendy and her husband Dave Werner all of Kitchener. Dear grandmother of Bryan, Lisa, David, Michael, Logan, Jocelyn, Roseanne, Arthur, Christina and Michael. Carol will be missed by many family and friends. Carol was a lifelong member of Bridgeport United Church where she was the organist, pianist and choir director, a member of the U.C.W., the W.C.T.U. and was a valued supporter of Soaring on Eagles Wings Christian Fellowship Church. Visiting will take place at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9 p.m. Visitation will continue at Bridgeport United Church, 40 Bridge St. W. on Friday, June 18, 2010 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Grand River Hospital Renal Clinic or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses who helped with her care.
