- Mrs. Carrie Seamans Expires in Factoryville
Mrs. Carrie Seamans, 85, widow of Horace Seamans, died yesterday afternoon in her home in Factoryville after an illness. She was one of the pioneer residents of Factoryville, settling there in 1866 following her marriage to Mr. Seamans in Canada. She had resided on the same farm in Factoryville during her sixty-six years as resident there.
Surviving are three children: Arthur E., Earl and Mrs. Bertha Foley, all of Factoryville; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon with services in the house at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Charles Caulkins, pastor of the Factoryville Baptist church, will officiate. Interment will be in Factoryville cemetery.
