    • Charles Schmagelski, 68, of 2430 S. Eighth street, passed away Thursday evening.

      He was born January 21, 1882, in Breston, Ont., Can., a son of the late Friedrich and Anna Schmagelski. He came to the United States at the age of eight and has resided here

      He was a painter and decorator for the J. and W. Jung company for 35 years and worked for Elvers Bros. for 12 years. He retired several years ago.

      He was married to Kathrine Smeas of Sheboygan Falls on July 1, 1903, at Chicago. She passed away on April 2 of this year.

      Survivors include one daughter. Mrs. George (Gladys) Bruesewitz of Sheboygan; one grandson; five brothers, Albert, Fred, Henry, William and George, all of Sheboygan; and one sister, Mrs. Ida Schmidt, also of Sheboygan.

      One brother and one sister preceded him in death.

      Funeral services will be held at the Ramm Funeral home at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. W. W. Laesch of Our Saviour's Lutheran church will officiate and burial will be made in the Sheboygan Falls cemetery.

      The body will lie in state at the funeral home from Saturday evening until time of services..
