  KALBFLEISCH, Claude Jonas (Speedy) - In his 79th year, of 265 Regina St. N., Waterloo, passed away, on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 1989, at K-W Hospital. Beloved husband of Melvina Lutz; loving father of Sherry and her husband Peter Braun of Kitchener, Rella and Louis, Doug and his wife Linda, all of Wiarton and Brian of Ayr. Also survived by his brother, James of Kitchener, 15 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, George Kalbfleisch and Anna Jonas, and one brother and two sisters. He was a former speed skater and he retired in 1975 from the Kitchener Transit System, where he had been a foreman and mechanic. Mr. Kalbfleisch's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, this evening (Thursday), from 7-9 pm.. A private family funeral service will be held on Friday at 21 pm in the chapel of the funeral home, Rev. John Markvart of Emmanuel United Church, (Bridgeport) officiating. Interment Memory Gardens. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 19 Jan 1989
