  Zinger, Cyril (Pat) Passed away lovingly surrounded by family on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Twin Oaks of Maryhill at the age of 98. Beloved husband of the late Laura (nee: Bray) (2002). Loving father of Diane Strickler (Danny), Joanne Lobsinger and Doug Zinger (Sandra) all of Maryhill. Cherished Grandfather of Bobbi-Jo (Trevor), Phil (Tracey), Tye (Ashley), Joe (Sally), Dwight (Angela) and Great-grandfather of Codi, Troy and Jackson, Theo, Chase and Melody, Carson and Brinley. Predeceased by his parents Linus and Ottillia (nee: Hummel). Dear Brother of the late Harold, Anthony (Doc) and Betty. Survived by sister-in-law Mildred Frank. Lovingly remembered by dear friend Mae DeMartin. He was a farmer for all his life in the Maryhill area, as well as working at the Ontario Livestock Exchange (Stockyards) for 50 years. He was a proud member of the Maryhill Knights of Columbus, St. Boniface Holy Name Society and The Maryhill Historical Society. Pat's family will receive relatives and friends from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 -9 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Parish Prayers at 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Boniface R.C. Church (1354 Maryhill Rd. Maryhill) on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Voisin officiating. Interment at St. Boniface Cemetery after Mass. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Boniface R.C Church - Cemetery Fund or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
