  RAYNER, Donald Clifford "Don" Passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at the age of 74 years. Loving dad of Denise Rayner-Ford (Glen). Cherished grump of Ainsley, Piper, Logan and Shayna. Survived by his brother Bill Rayner (Fran) and by nephews Jamie, Doug and Chris. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street N., Cambridge, on Monday, January 15, 2018, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from the chapel of the funeral home, on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Mount View Cemetery. In memory of Don, donations to The Sick Kids Foundation would be appreciated. Don was a hardworking, noble person who was always ready to help family and friends when needed. He was "that guy" you could call at any time and he would be there to lend a hand. He had a love of life and the simple things. A cold beer, nature and the value of life long friendships both in his personal and work life. He loved his job at the City of Cambridge and many of his co-workers became life long friends (to him more like family). Don will be greatly missed; however, he has left a life-long imprint to those he knew. He showed us to shoot from the hip, be who you say you are and was my best friend.
