  Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Riverbend Place, Cambridge in his 95th year. Beloved husband of 69 years to Dolores, dear brother of Jeanne Rodger, the late Beatrice Scanes and the late Robert F. Richardson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Don was employed by Hespeler-St. Mary's Wood Specialties Ltd. for 48 years. He also served with the R.C.A.F. from 1943 to 1946 and was an honorary life member of the Galt Council of the Knights of Columbus. He and Dolores were long-time members of St. Mary of the Visitation Church of Hespeler. Don's family will welcome friends at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with a memorial service under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion, Hespeler Branch #272 being held at 6:30 pm. Vigil Prayers will also be held on Friday evening at 8:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, 16 Cooper Street, Cambridge on Saturday morning at 10 am with interment following at New Hope Cemetery. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to St. Mary's Building Fund.
