At St. Joseph's Hospital, Guelph, on Monday, May 30, 1994, in his 72nd., year after a short illness. He served as a navigator in the R.C.A.F. during WW II and was a longtime employee of Armco Ltd., (Armtec). Loving husband of the late Catherine (1989). Brother of Irving and his wife Margaret of Oshawa, Mary and her husband Bert McAvoy of Cambridge, Gordon and his wife Cynthia of Guelph and Margaret and her husband Bob Montgomery of Calgary. Step-father of Colleen and her husband Don Mills, June and her husband Jack Taylor and George Shaw all of Cambridge. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and many step-grandchildren. Friends will be received at COUTTS & SON FUNERAL HOME, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge, on Wednesday, June 1, 1994, from 7 to 9 P.M. Funeral and Committal Service will be conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, June 2, 1994, at 1: 30 P.M., with Rev. William Gallagher officiating. Interment will follow in Mount View Cemetery.
