  GEISEL, Donald R.-Age 72 years, formerly of RR 2, West Montrose, where he enjoyed the serenity and beauty of nature on the family farm, where he lived most of his childhood and adult life. He is survived by his only daughter, (Sandy) Sandra J. Geisel, of Waterloo. Don was the son of the late Edward J. Geisel (1977) and Mildred (nee Miller) Geisel (1993). Survived by one brother, Ken and his wife Janet and family of RR 1, Elmira and one sister, Elsie Klingspon and her husband Willi, of Waterloo. In 1955, Don was very active in building managing and owning the original "Waterloo County Stock Yards'. His public relation ability soon made his business a success. Donald enjoyed and liked to be around people. During this time, he served on the boards of many agricultural groups and also farmed. Don also served as an elder of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Elmira, where he was a member. When Don retired and moved to Waterloo, he became a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Willow St., Waterloo. My heart as his daughter, goes out to the Pastors of St. John's Lutheran Church for their optimism and support through his sickness. Also, thanks to our special friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at St. John's Lutheran Church, on Tuesday, July 31, 2001, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Doug Kranz officiating.
