  STUART, Doreen Honour Passed away peacefully, on December 21, 2016, in her 92nd year, with her daughter by her side. Predeceased by husband Andrew Stuart (2002). Beloved mother of Trevor (Judi) and Thelma (Ron). Dearest grandma of Ken (Amanda), Sandra (Mike) and Karianne. Great Grandmother of Averie and Jadyn. During World War II, Doreen worked in Civil Defense and at the War Office in London, England. The family wishes to acknowledge, Warm Embrace Elder Care, for their companionship, The Grand River Hospital Stroke Unit, The Emergency Room Unit and Freeport Hospital for their compassionate support. A special thank you to the staff and friends at Luther Village and to Reverend Greg Smith and the pastoral care at Grand River Hospital for their blessings and prayers. A Funeral Service will be held at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre , 1001 Ottawa St. S. on Saturday, December 24th at 9: 00 a.m. with a reception to follow.
