      Groom Is Corporal in R.C.A.F. Wireless School, Montreal

      The marriage took place on Saturday at 4715 Queen Mary Rd Montreal. Pauline Gibson Grant. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. E. Grant to Corporal Douglas Bowman Shantz. R.C.A.F. No. 1 Wireless school. Montreal. son of Mr. and Mrs. P. Shantz. Moore Park. Toronto. Rev. B. B. Brown of Montreal officiated and Mrs. Herbert McAllister played the wedding music.

      The bride was given in marriage by Edward Hynes and wore a heaven blue chiffon ensemble with white accessories and a corsage of red roses. Mrs. Edward Hynes, matron of honor, wore a pink chiffon ensemble with a corsage of roses. L.A.C. Richard Erb, E R.C.A.F., Stratford, was best man and L.A.C. Victor Turner, R.C.A.F., the only usher. reception the bride's mother received wearing a dusky pink crepe ensemble and the groom's mother wore a black and white corded silk. The couple left on a trip to the Laurentians.
