- TYE, Lenore - On Tuesday, Feb. 17, 1981, at Scott Pavilion (K-W Hospital), and formerly of RR 2, New Hamburg, Mrs. Edith Lenore Tye, in her 69th year.
She was a member of St. George's Anglican Church, New Hamburg; a member of the ACW, and a former member of the WA. She was a former teacher.
Wife of the late John (Jack) Tye, who predeceased her in January, 1969. She is lovingly remembered by sons, Robert of RR 2, New Hamburg, James of Oshawa, and daughter, Mrs. Frances Josslin of Waterloo; dear daughter of the former Henrietta Henderson of Winnipeg, Man., and the late Samuel Miller. Five grandchildren, and a brother, Dr. James Miller of Winnipeg also survive.
She rested at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, New Hamburg Chapel, 291 Huron St., until noon Friday, when removal was made to St. James Anglican Church, RR 1, New Hamburg, for service at 2 pm, Rev. Harry Janke officiated. Interment in the church cemetery.
