Peacefully at his late residence, in Waterloo. on Friday, Feb. 5, 1993, age 84 years, Sylvester Bieth, a member of St. Mary's RC Church. A longtime employee and supervisor for Cluett and Peabody Ltd., formerly Arrow Shirt, retiring in 1987. A member of the 25 year club of Arrow Shirt, the Rockway Senior Citizens and a veteran of the Second World War. Son of the late Anthony Bieth and the former Mary Benninger. Beloved husband of the late Helen Bieth (nee Urbshot). Loving father of Bruce and his wife Karen of St. Agatha, Carolyn Carnahan and her husband David and Barbara Pilsner and her husband Karl, all of Waterloo. Will be sadly missed by his seven grandchildren, Jason, Todd, Leah and Shawn Carnahan and Cohn, Neil and Ian Pilsner. Loving brother of Irene O'Rourke and her husband Joseph of Toronto. Predeceased by two brothers, Clayton and William and one sister, Lillian Bieth. Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church St., Kitchener, after 2 p.m., Sunday. Vigil for the deceased, Sunday, at 3 p.m. Prayers will be offered from the funeral home chapel on Monday, Feb. 8, at 1: 30 p.m., followed by funeral mass at St. Mary's RC Church at 2 p.m., The Very Rev. L. A. Keasey, CR, officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
