    • KNECHTEL, Miss Grace - At Heritage House Nursing Home, in St. Jacobs, on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2001, Grace Knechtel, was called home by her Lord and Saviour, in her 87th year. Lovingly remembered by her sisters, Dorothy Knechtel of Waterloo, Lila Martin of St. Jacobs, Fern Knechtel of Kitchener, Carol and her husband Alson Martin of Elmira, Erma Gingrich of Elmira and brothers, Clifford Knechtel and his wife Reta of Kitchener, Orval Knechtel and his wife Mary of Kitchener and Alfred Knechtel of London. Also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Ephraim Knechtel and the former Edna Snyder and one brother, Paul in 1940. Relatives and friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Saturday, Sept. 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Transfer will be made on Sunday at 1 p.m. to Mannheim Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 3 p.m., with Pastor David Tiessen officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Reception will follow in the church basement. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee and may be placed by contacting the fu-neral home at 745-9495.
