- GALT - A well known athlete in his younger days, Edward Cecil Coxson, 74, of Galt, died Saturday in Hamilton General Hospital. Born in Plattsville, he lived there all his life until the past year when he moved Galt. He was an outstanding athlete and starred in football and baseball. He was a former pitcher for the Stratford Nationals and played for Paris in the senior inter-county league.
Surviving are his wife, the former Nellie Kriesel; a son, Douglas and three grandsons.
The body is Little's Funeral| Home, 39 Grand Ave., Galt, the funeral will be where conducted Tuesday at 2 Paul's p.m. Rev. Theodore Iseler of St. Lutheran: Church will Union officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, New Dundee.
