- Stricken with a heart attack, Edward Roth, 28 Locust street, passed away early today in his 52nd year. Mr. Roth was a carpenter by trade and had been employed for the past 12 years with Ed Schnarr, contractor, for whom he worked yesterday. Deceased was born in Preston, a son of George Roth and the late Mrs. Roth. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen Kiefer, his father of Preston, two brothers, Clarence of Preston and Anthony of Grand Rapids, Mich., and one sister, Miss Elizabeth Roth of Preston. The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock Monday morning at St. Mary's R.C. church. Interment will be made in Mount Hope Cemetery. Remains will rest at the Lippert and Hunter Funeral Home until 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon when they will be removed to the late residence.
