      GEISEL, Edward "Ted" Harry - Peacefully, at London Health Sciences Centre - University Hospital, on Thursday, May 8, 2014, Edward "Ted" Harry Geisel, of Grand Bend formerly of Waterloo, age 83. Beloved husband of Jean Elizabeth (Kistner) Geisel. Loved father and father-in-law of Fred and Carol Geisel of Elmwood, Donna Geisel of Palmerston and Tom Dietrich of Mount Carmel. Cherished grandpa of Ted and Carrie Geisel, Steve and Sheena Geisel, Larry Jr. and Theresa Geisel, Bobby-Jo and Kris Vidic, Heather Dietrich and Richard Francis, Amber Dietrich and Lee Brintnell, John Dietrich and great-grandpa of 5. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Doris and Bob Westphal of Waterloo, Tom and Sandy Richber of London, Jim and Geraldine Richber of Niagara Falls. He will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Harry Geisel, Alvina (Geisel) and Oren Richber, daughter Kathy (Geisel) Dietrich (August 2013), son Larry Geisel (February 2014). At Ted's request cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to T. HARRY HOFFMAN & SONS FUNERAL HOME, Dashwood. Ted was a career Fire Fighter in the City of Waterloo and retired as a Platoon Chief, he was a long time member of the Waterloo Rod and Gun Club and the Grand Bend Legion.
