  Mrs. William Redwood PRESTON, Mrs. William J. M. Redwood, a former resident at Fairview Mennonite Home, died at Freeport Hospital, Thursday. She was 78. Mrs. Redwood was the former Effie Louise Conner and was born in Pittsburgh Township, Leeds County, near Gananoque. She resided in Toronto and Sault Ste. Marie. She was a member of St. John's Anglican Church. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas William Conner, one of the early pioneer families of Ontario. Surviving are her husband, William J. Redwood, one son, Hugh C. Redwood and one daughter, Mrs. Eric (Ngaire) VonPlaten of Preston; one brother, Edward Conner of Gananoque; one sister, Mrs. Roy (Muriel) Hall of Sherbrooke, Que. and four grandchildren. The body is at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home. Removal will be made Saturday, to St. John's Anglican Church, for the funeral and committal services at 2: 30 p.m. Interment will be in Preston Park Lawn cemetery.
