    • Obituary of Eileen Neeb

      Formerly of Kitchener-Waterloo, Eileen passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Villa in Dundas on Saturday, July 12, 2014 in her 96th year.

      Loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother of Tom Neeb and wife Kathy and their family, sons David (Jen) and their son Ryan, and Michael (Melissa) and their children Parker and Taylor; Tim Neeb and wife Teri and their sons Kyle and Dakota. Dear sister of Honey Hoflinger and Dolly Weaver.

      Eileen was predeceased by her husband, Mervyn Jacob Neeb on December 13, 1984; daughter, Nancy in 1959; parents, Clarence G. and Lilly (nee House) Hamel; brothers, Earl (in infancy) and Sonny (Lloyd) Hamel; and sisters, Ruth Marsland and Miriam Nichols.

      Eileen was a long-time member of Calvary Memorial United Church in Kitchener and an avid volunteer at the K-W Hospital.

      The family expresses a sincere thank you to the caring and compassionate staff of St. Joseph's Villa in Dundas.

      Cremation will take place. Eileen's family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 1-1:30 p.m. A memorial service will then be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. with interment following at Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo.
