  Bette passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, at Columbia Forest Long Term Care, Waterloo, Ontario in her 92nd year. Bette was survived by her husband of 68 years, Owen B. Dunbrook, her sons, Alan, Kevin (Karen) and Greg (Pauline) and grandsons Adam and Alexander. Predeceased by her parents, Collingwood Centennial Mayor Allan C. Carmichael (1971) and Zelma Mae Carmichael (Nee Sherk) (1999). Bette was a registered nurse, class of 1947. Her career spanned 23 years at Kitchener Waterloo Hospital. As per Bette's wishes, a private family visitation and service took place. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
