  GALLIHER, Betty (Schlieman) nee Koebel Born 1930 in St. Clements, ON. Died peacefully on February 11, 2013 at the age of 82 in the Brantford General Hospital after a short battle with cancer. Leaving behind, husband Earl, sister Genevieve McLaughlin, brother Fred Koebel, daughters, Brenda (Edwin) Hoyer, Bonnie (Steve) Peirce, Earlene (Lee) Heimbecker and son, Brent (Kim) Schlieman, eleven grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. In keeping with Betty's cremation has taken place. A Memorial will be held in her honour on June 29, 2013. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation 2-1373 Victoria Street North, Kitchener, ON N2B 3R6, or the Canadian Cancer Society, 98 Paris Road, Unit 2, Brantford, ON N3R 1H9.
