  MRS. JOHN C. SHERMAN Following an illness of almost two years duration, the death of Mrs. John C. Sherman occurred Friday morning, June: 10, at her home, 108 Cedar street. Formerly Miss Eloine V. Surarus, the deceased woman was born on June 4, 1883, in Kitchener, Ont., the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Surarus. She later moved to Buffalo with her parents where she was connected with a number of organizations and was an active church worker. Nineteen years ago she became the wife of John C. Sherman, North Bay, and following her marriage accompanied her husband to this city where she had since resided. Surviving besides her husband are three children: Grant, Helen and Joyce, North Bay, and her parents, also of this city. The funeral service will be held at the family residence on Sunday afternoon, June 12, at two o'clock, with Rev. F. J. Baine, of Trinity United Church, officiating.
