At the Misericordie Hospital, Edmonton, on Friday, September 24, 1993, Emma Butler of Dalgliesh Street, Cambridge in her 75th year. Beloved wife of the late George Allen Butler and dear mother of Inez Boehme and her husband Ziggy of London, Yvonne Stone and her husband Jim; Roy and his wife Barbara; Joseph and his wife Pam all of Cambridge and George and his wife Myrtle of Longpond, Newfoundland. Also survived by brothers, Warwick and Peter and sisters, Dora; Margaret and Evelyn all of Newfoundland and by 13 grandchildren, Cindy, Debra, Wendy; Sarah; Jay; Mandy; Michelle; Amy; Jamie; George; Jonathan; Stephanie and Phillip and by 6 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter, Nona and brothers, Wilson, Sam and Charles. Emma Butler was a member of the Cambridge Newfoundland Club and a member of Trinity Anglican Church. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Sunday, from 7 - 9 p.m. and Monday, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel, on Tuesday, September 28, 1993, at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Robert Grisdale officiating. Interment, Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
