  KAPLIN, Mrs. Jerome (Eve lyn) At St. Mary's Hospital, on Sunday, Feb. 22, 1976, suddenly following a heart attack, Evelyn Helen Glassford, of 34 Pattandon Ave., aged 52 years. Mrs. Kaplin was born in Kitchener, a daughter of the late Frederick Glassford and the former Florence Ostertag. Mrs. Kaplin had been employed at the Bank of Montreal, King and Queen Streets, for the past 24 years; a member of St. Joseph's RC Church and the Catholic Women's League and president of the Ladies Auxiliary, Cana- dian Legion Branch 50. Surviving are her husband, Jerome Kaplin; daughter a Carol Ann, (Mrs. Alan Posliff) of Owen Sound; brother a Merle Glassford of Waterloo and two granddaughters Colleen Anne and Janice Lee; predeceased by a brother William in 1972. Friends may call at the Ratz- Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 2 p.m. Tuesday, where parish prayers will be said on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by funeral mass at St. Joseph's RC Church at 10.
