- Ferdinand S. Schneider
One of Waterloo's well known citizens, Ferdinand S. Schneider passed away at his home, 50 Willow St., in his 75th year. He was born in Waterloo, October 16, 1858 where he resided all his life. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran church. A wife and one daughter, Mrs. G. W. Starnaman of Toronto and five grandchildren survive.
Many friends and relatives attended the funeral held on Sunday afternoon to the St. John John's Lutheran Church for service and Mt. Hope cemetery for burial. Rev. C. S. Roberts officiated.

WATERLOO MAN HURT
Shortly after eight o'clock Friday evening at the corner of King and Erb Sts., Ferdinand Schneider, 50 Willow St., was knocked to the pavement by a motor car, driven by Wm. Hawken of Kitchener. Dr. McNally was called and removed Mr. Schneider to his home. He suffered injuries to his head and body. His condition is not serious.
