Funeral Held In Toronto For Lawyer
TORONTO (CP) Private - funeral services were held Wednesday for Frank Erichsen- Brown, 89, a retired Toronto lawyer and father of author Isabel Le Bourdais. He died Monday.
Mr. Erichsen Brown attended Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the bar in 1903. He practised in Galt for a short time and established an office in Toronto in 1908.
He served as a director of the City Dairy and was a member of the board of governors of the Crown Life Insurance Co. for 40 years.
He is survived by one son. J. Prince Erichsen-Brown, also a lawyer, and two daughters, Mrs. LeBourdais, author of The Trial of Steven Truscott, and Frances Rocksborough Smith of Vancouver.
Another daughter, Gwethalyn Graham, author of two Gover nor General's Award winning novels, Swiss Sonata and Earth and High Heaven, died in 1965.
