  BRUBACHER, Freda (Mrs. Ralph) -Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Wednesday, August 27,2003. Freda (Rushton) Brubacher, in her 75th year, of Elmira. Beloved wife of Ralph Brubacher for 51 years. Loving and devoted mother of Peter and Val Brubacher of Elmira, Paul and Pamela Brubacher of Taylors, South Carolina, Jim and Linda Brubacher of Elmira. Fondly remembered by her seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Dear sister of John and Ruth Rushton of London, Ont. Predeceased by her parents, Edgar and Elizabeth Rushton. Freda was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary Royal Canadian Legion Branch 469, Elmira and a faithful member of St. James Lutheran Church, Elmira and the ELW. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At 9 a.m. on Saturday transfer will be made to St. James Lutheran Church, Elmira for funeral service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Hans Borch officiating, followed by interment in St. James Lutheran Cemetery.
