    • FRED ZARNKE

      Ill for the past three months. Fred Zarnke, 767 King street west, a prominent member of the I.O.O.F. died Tuesday night at his home in This 71st year. Mr. Zarnke, a life long resident of this city, had been a member of the I.O.O.F. for the past 43 years. He had been a charter member of the Rebekabs, of which he had been a member for 35 years, and also a charter member of Samaritan Encampment in which he had held the office of Grand and Chief Patriarch. He was a piano maker by trade. He attended St. Peter's Lutheran Church.

      Surviving are his widow, Catherine Reitz, one son, Carl of this city, and one daughter. Mamie, Mrs. A. R. Brandt city. One grand child also survives.

      The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock at his late home followed by interment in St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Dr. H. A. Sperling will officiate.
