  THOMSON, Garth O. At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Thursday February 6, 1997 in his 82nd year. Garth will lovingly be remembered for his many kindnesses and his generous spirit, served with the Royal Canadian Naval Intelligence during the Second World War. Beloved husband of Catherine. Loving father of Graham Thomson of Guelph and Gwendolyn Anne Kent. At the request of the family cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A Private Family Service will be held. A Celebration of Garth's Life, for friends and relatives, will follow in the spring. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or The Galt Horticultural Society and would be appreciated by the family.
