  • Notes
    • SCHNEIDER, Tim Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, after his long-awaited renal transplant at St. Joseph's Healthcare, Hamilton, at the age of 61. Tim was the creative, hard working and never a dull moment husband and soul mate of Janet (Davies) Schneider for 27 years. Son-in-law and TV buddy of Helen Hammer. Fun-loving and entertaining brother and brother-in-law of John and Judy Schneider, Jayne and Don Brubacher, Kathy and Lew Bauman, Morgan Davies, and Martyn Davies. With memories that make them smile, Tim known as "Uncle Weird", will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, Andrew, James (Laura), Brad (Monika); Lori (Ryan), Kevin (Jacqui); Josh, Jake (Carly) and eight great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Harry D. and Grace (Woods) Schneider, father-in-law Harry Hammer, and sister-in-law Linda Evans. Tim's full life began on the cherished family farm on Benjamin Road. His creative talents shone through in theatre, music, home design, and his career in advertising. Tim was a jack of all trades, and no task was too big for him. His passions were many and included his home and family. His humour charmed everyone. At Tim's request, cremation has taken place. In celebration of Tim's interesting life, relatives and friends are invited to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira, on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. for a time of sharing lighthearted stories, refreshments /Tim Hortons coffee, and a prayer. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Osteogenesis Imperfecta Society or Pet Patrol would be appreciated by the family.
